The Franchise model
Interested in opening a Drama House franchise?
Here is what is included in our model.
Your franchise package

Wedsite, socials and e-commerce
Our website dramahouse.ie will host your class information and customers can book a place in your class directly through the site. We will help promote classes through our extensive social media presence. We have a professional social media manager on staff so the product is always professional and effective.

Curriculum
We will help you to design your curriculum depending on the size of your classes. Every year we put on a Christmas performance and depending on your location, you can participate in the main show in the Helix in DCU or we will help you to stage your own show in your locality. Additionally, we will purchase and give you the rights to produce a full scale Musical with your classes. This year we are doing "SpongeBob Jr" with our intermediate and junior students and "Legally Blonde jr" with our senior students.

Mentoring and business support
Sarah will work directly with you to get your business off the ground and then mentor you on an ongoing basis. As there are many pitfalls in running a performing arts school, the mentoring programme is here to support you to help make your school a success. She can help you with hiring/ interviewing, as well as site inspections to ensure your classes get off to the right start.

Booking coordinator
Our amazing administrator, Ruth, will answer any calls, texts and emails regarding your school and present to you on week one with a populated spreadsheet with all your students information and and necessary permissions.

Staff Training
Twice a year, we bring all the Drama House teachers together to run staff training. We usually cover Children's First training (mandatory for those working with kids) and paediatric first aid. Additionally, we often include training in best teaching practise, for example this year we had a specialist come in from "As I Am" an autism awareness company on best practise when working with neuro-divergent students.

Uniform
All staff will be provided with Drama House uniforms (T-shirt and hoodie) so that everyone looks professional, coordinated and a part of an established school. We also have a fantastic supplier that can kit out your school in Drama House hoodies or back packs if desired.

Garda Vetting and Safe Guarding.
We will take over the hassle of Garda Vetting your staff. Additionally we will provide you with all of the necessary safe guarding, child protection and risk assessment documents you need for your school.

Marketing
We will help you to market your classes in a number of ways. We will provide marketing materials such as posters and flyers to be placed in your community as well as through targeted instagram ads in your area. We can target your geographical area, but also ages and demographics which we have found to be extremely effective marketing. We will use Drama House's significant following on social media to get the ball rolling on your classes and to help promote other classes and camps you have on offer.

Opportunity to take part in wider school projects
Drama House is an extremely productive school and will provide countless opportunities for franchises. When you are ready, you will have the opportunity to perform in large scale Christmas productions at the Helix, DCU, the Drama House Youth Theatre festival which is a weekend of theatre making for young people in a theatre in Naas, or perhaps you would like to include your class in a trip to Disneyland Paris to perform on the main stage? We also run a Casting agency for students who are interested in commercial work. When you're part of the Drama House team, you have all of these opportunities at your fingertips, without all of the heavy lifting. Lastly, if you have any dreams or ambitions for your school, the Drama House team will help you to make it a reality.
